The student has mastered the piece technically and now we see ProfessorRashkovsky change the way she plays physically so that it unlocks emotion and musicality. what I cannot understand is this: we see all noteworthy players with 'studied with Itzhak Rashkovsky' in their bios, now we need him to masterclass a dozen violin concertos for every single one of them so that they fill the Royal Albert Hall in performance that are worthy successors to David Oistrakh, Isaac Stern. This final step is missing.

Rather than what the player of the person in the master class not the master like he doesn't ask him what he thinks what he wants what he thinks is good it's like conductors it's the same thing they rule and I think it's not a democracy honestly okay

The problem with master class is it seems lopsided one-sided whatever the master class the master says goes kind of in a nice set of way but he didn't ask the player what he wants what his ideas are

Another superb set of lessons by Ilya. The great Russian tradition of violin teaching continues. Technique is only a path to music, and that is always clear with the Kaler method of teaching. Great pointers on proper musical emphasis and operatic legato in Paganini!
